We strive to keep our products as close to natural as possible. 
Not all products that boast to be 100% natural really are, especially if they contain a preservative, which all products that come into contact with water and hands should have. 

Why? Water is an ideal medium for bacterial growth, mold & mildew as we all know. Hands are also a magnet for dirt, germs.  This is the reason you will find a preservative in some of our products. We want our products to be safe for our customers. Preservatives also lengthen the shelf life of products.  

Our Glycerin Soap: 

Why buy & use our glycerin soap instead of grocery or department store ones? 

1. We make our glycerin soap using a vegetable glycerin soap base. We use No alcohol or solvents to dry your skin! Glycerin soap retains the natural glycerin (natural emollient that boosts lather and is milder to the skin.) 

2. Most commercial soap you find at the grocery most likely is Not soap. It is likely to be a synthetic detergent that is harsh to your skin and cleans by stripping away the skin's natural protective oils thus leaving your skin dry. 

3. Commercial soap bars from the store have had the glycerin processed out as it is a valuable ingredient by itself. Companies are also not fond of glycerin's properties that lend to sticking to the milling machinery. You will find that commercial soaps are hard, due to the milling process. 

4. Glycerin is a humectant, which means it helps attract  moisture to the skin. We add extra glycerin to our soaps to add a little to that property.

5. Many commercial soaps contain Bht and Trisoduim Edta which 
are synthetic stabilizers that may irritate skin.  Commercial processors use these to make the soap last longer. 

6. Our soaps are long lasting unless you leave them sitting in the shower, or in a water-filled soap dish. The best soap dish for your soaps is a wooden one with slats that prevent the soap from sitting directly in water.

7. Since many people want a soap that is vegetable based; free of animal products or animal testing, ours do not contain animal fats. However, they are available and can be added to your soap upon request. 

8. We use such oils in our soaps/products as; Avocado, Sweet 
Almond, Hemp, Hazelnut, Sunflower and Emu among others. 
All these oils are wonderful for your skin and possess many 
properties that are utilized for certain skin problems or needs.

9. As with any skin product, care should be used when trying it for the first time. Many people are allergic to different ingredients and or scents. If you have a known allergy and the product contains it, DO NOT order it. 

 There is no way to know what may irritate you or your skin, so please be aware that you may be at risk when trying a new product. Always do a skin test first. Apply a small amount of the product in your skin in a small area.  After 5 minutes, if irritation arises, wash the area with a mild, warm soapy water and DO NOT USE THE PRODUCT AGAIN! Email me for return instructions.

If you find it irritates you after you purchase a product, I will gladly take the item back (at your expense) and issue you a store credit for another product.

Our castile soap is made from 100% Olive Oil.  
(See left insert for information).

Castile soap is mild and gentle and wonderful for sensitive skin. It is gentle enough to use on baby's skin.
